Message from Mrs Haggett

It has been another fantastic week of learning here at Woodslee. As the weather turns colder and the rain begins to set in, please ensure your child comes to school with a named coat so they can stay warm and dry while they are outside.  We are  grateful to our amazing Bromborough Loves Books reading volunteers, who not only enjoy reading sessions with pupils, but also open our library every Monday after school. Families are warmly invited to pop in, browse the shelves, and borrow a book or two. Our newly formed Community Team has already done some fantastic fundraising and are brimming with exciting plans for the future. If you would like to be part of this team, or wish to find out more, please get in touch with the school office. Have a great weekend and we look forward to seeing you on Monday!

Y6 Residential

🌟 Year 6 have had the BEST time at Winmarleigh Hall. They have pushed themselves to step outside of their comfort zones, showing true resilience and courage along the way. We can not WAIT for them to get home so they can tell us all about it..

Golden Ticket Winners

A huge congratulations to this week’s Golden Ticket winners! We are so proud of the way you β€œshow you care” – in your learning, in your friendships, and all around school. Pupils in Years 1–6 will enjoy a special trampolining treat, while our Reception and Nursery children can look forward to Mrs Haggett’s Golden Ticket Party at the end of the half term. Well done, everyone!

Is your child starting Reception (Foundation 2) in September 2026?

Miss Tappin and Miss Rutherford will be holding a drop in session on Monday 6th October at 9am to help with the online application process.

If you are not sure if your child is due to start F2 in September 26, ask Miss Tappin on the EYFS door, she will be happy to help you 😊
