Get Ready to Roar! It's Our Attendance Adventure!

Get ready, kids, because something wild is coming to school! We're kicking off an attendance drive that could send you on an unforgettable adventure to Chester Zoo!

Here's how you can win a pair of tickets to see lions, giraffes, and so much more:

  • Every day you're in school, you'll get one entry into our special prize draw. The more you're here, the better your chances!
  • And for all you attendance superstars, if you manage a 5-day streak of being in school every single day, you'll get DOUBLE entries for those days! That's right, twice the chance to win those amazing zoo tickets!

Who will win the next pair of zoo tickets on Monday? We are getting excited!!!

Nut Free Reminder

We are committed to being a nut-free school to ensure the safety and well-being of all our students, particularly those with severe nut allergies. An allergic reaction to nuts can be extremely serious and, in some cases, life-threatening.

To achieve this, we kindly request the full cooperation of all parents and guardians. Please do not pack any nut-containing products in your child's snacks or lunchboxes. This includes, but is not limited to, peanuts, tree nuts (such as almonds, cashews, walnuts, hazelnuts, pistachios, Brazil nuts, pecans, macadamia nuts), nut butters (like peanut butter or cashew butter), and foods that may contain nuts as an ingredient (e.g., some granolas, snack bars, chocolates, nutella spread and baked goods).

We appreciate your understanding and support in helping us maintain a safe environment for everyone in our school community.

No After School Club on the last day of tem!

After School Club will be closed on Friday 18th July. All children to be collected at their normal collection time by 3:30pm.

This week at Co-op Academy Woodslee

Walker Art Gallery Trip: Year 3 Explores Art & Myth

Year 3 had a wonderful time on their trip to the Walker Art Gallery! The children explored a range of incredible artwork and took part in an engaging, creative workshop where they imagined and created their own endings to a Greek myth. They represented the school beautifully with their enthusiasm and excellent behaviour – well done, Year 3!

R told us that this Allosaurus chomps on sticks and then spits them out. He came into creation completely independently- no adult support at all!
Isn’t he fabulous! πŸ¦–πŸ¦•

A Day of Fun and Friendship: Reception Teams Up!

Reception (F2) had the BEST day! It was brilliant to join up with their friends from Co-op Academy Portland and Co-op Academy Hillside and share the experience together.

Every Friday until the end of term is a non-uniform day. We are kindly asking for donations towards our summer fayre.

We loved coming together at St. Barnabas, Bromborough to celebrate another successful year at Co-op Academy Woodslee. πŸ’™

We took the opportunity to thank those that have helped us along the way and wish those that are leaving us a fond farewell πŸŽ‰πŸ‘πŸΌ

For all EYFS parents, please come and join us at our final stay and play session.

Pupil Shoutout

Let’s take a moment to celebrate R’s marvellous achievement in gymnastics! Look at all the medals she has won! πŸ…πŸ₯‡πŸ…

The barriers to accessing education are wide and complex, both within and beyond the school gates, and are often specific to individual pupils and families. At Co-op Academy Woodslee, we will do all we can to support your family and ensure our academy is safe, calm and a supportive environment for your child.
